The Business Culture Scan © gives leadership teams, strategic consultants, and changemakers insight into the bigger picture you operate in. Clarity on the wider context and environment strengthens the emotional and relational agility of teams that need to deal with institutional/systemic conflicts and company or industrywide stakeholder engagement.

DATA: MEASURE/STATISTICS
Internal factors include a.o. statistics about employee motivation research, employee ilness and burnout ratios, turnover and career switch costs, whistleblower cases or crises, salary/bonus scales/ratios. External factors include number and size of client and/or legal complaints, inadequate conflict resolution costs, client satisfaction and/or happiness / net promoter scores, ecological footprint, and social / societal impact data.
DYNAMICS: INSTITUTIONAL BIAS
Internal factors include the awareness of our (past/present/future) collective biases, what (non) trusted people hear/feel/see at the workplace, key social patterns that impact our everyday work experience, informal organizational structures, key bonus and performance principles, key procedures to fire/hire directors. External factors can be market volatility/competition.
ACTIONS: WE SAY/DO/WANT
Internal factors include if we are radically honest about if we ask ourselves the right questions, if we put money/time/energy to where our mouths are, if we focus on long-term employability or settle for emotional negligence, if we are willing to close the gap between what we say / do / want. External indicators include a.o. how key services and corporate communications align with your expertise, role, and societal mission/vision.
RELATIONS: THE WORK CULTURE
Internal factors include the tone at the top, repeating patterns across the organization, bigger picture thinking, interdepartmental and institutional conflicts, stories that we (do not) tell, principles of belonging, flow, and hierarchy, and who guards core values in decision-making. External factors include pro-active interventions or societal trends impacting the internal social interactions.

CONTEXT
Solutions cannot be found at the level of awareness that created it. Instead, for knowing what we are called to do in this moment, we need to zoom out, see the big picture, and our roles therein.
RELATIONALITY
Business growth cannot happen with the sole focus on financial results. Instead, business develops like an organism. Micro and macro-movements can completely re-design or re-position a business.
EMOTIONALITY
Transformational leadership fails if we keep playing out the scripts from our personal and collective pasts. Instead, radical awareness of cultural dynamics/patterns frees up energy to get the job done.

SYSTEMS THINKING
To understand today's problems and tomorrow's challenges, we need to acknowledge the bigger picture: how do we design our social systems to be inclusive, equitable, and fair to all life across the globe?
EMBODIED LEARNING
To change the world, you need to start with yourself. What inspires you? What blocks you? How do you un-learn what no longer works? How do you re-program your automatic pilot, habits, and values? What 'moves' you?
VISUAL MODELING
